We've blogged our hearts out about the Twelve Twelve condo project on our Bynum Design blog--first the inspiration and then the finished space--but this post is a perfect place to drill into some of the details. Most everything in the condo was sourced from our shop, or can be ordered through our shop, but you may find some surprising sources in here, too. (Like the round, bristley things hanging on the wall in the above and below photos; they are old street-sweeper brushes. Obviously.) In case, you don't follow our other blog, the CliffsNotes version of this story is that during the winter we were asked to stage and design a condo in Nashville's new high-rise luxury condominium building, Twelve Twelve, in The Gulch. We said yes, and this is what happenedA: The paint color. We feel like we should get this out of the way first, because there will be questions. There are always questions about paint colors, and for good reason. They're important! We're a little funny about coughing up our colors, but we will give you a hint: it's one of these. And we would love to give you a paint color consultation; contact us here. The wallpaper. This wallpaper made from recycled newspaper strips was exactly what we needed to make this guest bath get out of the friend zone and make us fall full-on in love. It's from Weitzner; and is their "Newsworthy" paper. They have another one made from maps! That light fixture. The folks at Southern Lights Electric were kind enough to loan us this fixture, which is spectacular in every sense of the word. Those other light fixtures. They can all be found at--you guessed it--D. Luxe Home. That kitchen island. Our friend Garrett Marris custom-built this island for us. It is everything we envisioned and then some. Just about everything else: Is from D. Luxe Home! If you haven't already, come see us at Marathon Village at 1200 Clinton Street, Suite 30! We've love to meet you.
